Why it's worth your time
Melissa Chalsma directs the twin-mistaken-identity farce with an original score, and the company plays it broad on purpose. The practical reason to go this year rather than next: Independent Shakespeare Co. says this is its final season staged in the round at the dell before the permanent Griffith Park stage is finished, so the configuration you sit in now is going away.
